April Fool’s Joke Week Four Bubble Gum Notes

The Game is played similarly to week one black notes.  After playing a series of easy ‘get acquainted games’ such as ‘Go Fish’ and ‘Memory’, you can challenge yourself.  Deal 15 cards to each player.  Have five piles with two cards face down and one up.  Use only one hand.  In the center of all the players, place cards face up. (As many cards as there are players).  On ‘go’ and at your own pace, place a card on top of the pile that is one step up or one step down from the card on the top of the piles.  When a player gets rid of all his cards, he slaps the smallest pile.  All play stops.  Each player slaps a pile and puts it into their piles.  Begin again with one less pile in the center.  The winner then slaps the table.  (twist:  if you see someone ready to slap the table and you do it first, then everyone else must slap a pile and the game continues until one person is without cards and slaps the table first.)  Bubble gum notes are fun to play.  They add a dimension to the card game if played with the black note cards.  You can only put the note that follows next to the colored gum drop notes.  A black card would be a wild card.  Have fun.

Bubble Gum Notes are notes on a staff that are color coded. The game now takes on a more difficult dimension as you have to know the order of the notes. An A (red) is followed by a B (purple) and preceded by a G (green).
